First it was Nick Hogan, on August 26, 2007. He drove his Toyota Supra completely over a raised median, and into a palm tree on the other side of the road. Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to pry Nick and his passenger, John Graziano, loose.
Graziano ended up in a coma. Doctors are hopeful that someday he will be able to blink, but give no more reassurance than that.

Then Hulk Hogan had the nerve to blame John Graziano’s injuries on God. (Because the high speed street racing had nothing to do with it.)

Today there is a new twist on the Hogan saga:
Brooke got into a wreck too. She is quoted as saying that what happened to her brother caused her to at least wear her seatbelt in the crash, and saved her from injury. Here’s the info from Brooke’s MySpace blog:

I don’t know if you heard, but my friend and I got into a really bad car accident today ourselves… As I turned on my car I clicked my seatbelt. As we pulled out onto the road, I looked over and realized my friend didn’t have her seatbelt on. I reminded her to put it on and the minute she clicked it, a car crashed into us.

That sounds a little too “publicity scam” serendipitous to me, by hey, I wasn’t there. I’m just glad no one got hurt this time.

Maybe the Hogans, the Hiltons and the Spears clan could all go in together for some driving lessons, or even a chauffer….
