Ashlee Simpson Pregnant or Not?

Published by Connie Brooks at 5:45 am under Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz Edit This

Is Ashlee Simpson Pregnant
With all the hoopla surrounding her wedding to to Fall Out bassist Pete Wentz, it was surprising to see these photos of a very fit Ashlee….without a baby bump!

I mean we all believed that the only way one of the Simpson sisters would get married is if she were knocked up, right?

You have to admit it, they did get married pretty quickly. They only had their cute staged engagement photos about a month ago.

What do you think? Is she pregnant? Did they the speed the ceremony so that her bump wouldn’t show? Or perhaps…..were they really in hot-rocker-love?

The couple is currently denying her pregnancy.
Here’s the time line (via Wikipedia) for those obsessed fans who want to know:

  • On February 28, 2008, it was revealed that Wentz gave Simpson a promise ring. Ashlee Simpson announced that she is not pregnant and that the promise ring simply means that Pete hasn’t asked her dad yet.
  • On April 9, 2008, Simpson confirmed on an episode of TRL that she and Wentz are engaged.
  • On April 14, 2008, Rumors surfaced that Ashlee Simpson and Pete are expecting a baby but soon after these rumors appeared, Pete emailed MTV News to say that these rumors are a “witch hunt” and that Simpson is not pregnant.
  • On May 17, 2008 Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married at Simpson’s parents residence. Joe Simpson, Pete’s father in law, officiated at the ceremony.
